ImmPower (Active Hexose Correlated Compound), AHCC is obtained from hybridized medicinal mushrooms used in traditional Japanese healing, cultured in a liquid medium. It provides activated hemicellulose, glycoproteins, amino acids and oligosacharides with a unique beta 1, 4-glucan structure. When taken orally, ImmPower can significantly increase your immune system’s white blood cell activity level cytokine production. ImmPower has a profound effect on the immune system because it stimulates Natural Killer Cells-a type of white blood cell that provides the immune system’s first line of attack against viral infection and cancer cells. Each cell contains several small granules that act as ammunition. Once an NK cell has recognized an invader, it attaches itself to the cells outer membrane and injects these granules directly into the interior of the cell. The granules then open up, destroying the invading cell. The undamaged NK cell then moves on to the other cells and repeats the process. This product is recommended for patients with reduced immune response, such as chronic infection or cancer.

Usual dose is 2-6 capsules per day, or as  recommended by your physician.
